St. Mary’s Public School, a Roman Catholic Institution was founded on June 13, 2019 by His Excellency Rt. Rev. Dr. Singaroyan, the Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Salem provides holistic education to the community of students who seek education under CBSE Stream. With the bountiful grace of Mother Mary, the institution blooms into a beautiful portal of learning. The chairman of this school is Rt. Rev. Dr. Arulselvam Rayappan, D.D., D.C.L., the present Bishop of Salem.

The School Zone lies on the Salem-Chennai National Highway, just 1 km from Attur Town. This citadel of learning had its glorious beginning on 20th March 2020 with 32 students and 3 Teachers. The school provides multifarious activities with enriched infrastructure. Thus, the school aims at the overall development of the child, making him or her a well-integrated person, spiritually, socially, intellectually, morally, and spiritually helping them face the challenges of life in the future in collaboration with others.
